About Us

Welcome to House of Mojo!

We have been in Cairns retail for 20+ years. Cairns locals would know us previously from Zonky Plonky gift shop in Cairns Central shopping centre and then House of Mojo in Grafton Street. As the Retail industry has changed significantly over the last 10 years, we have had to adapt too. We are now operating at many of the markets in and around Cairns, including Port Douglas, Palm Cove, Mareeba, Yungaburra and more (please see our Markets page for more details). We want to share our passion of Candles, Fragranced Ceramic Hearts & Fragrance Diffusers with ALL our fellow Aussies, via this website :)

We believe in Sustainability, Fairness, Fair Trade & Cruelty-free products. All our products are 100% Vegan, Cruelty Free & Palm Oil Free. We choose to use Fairtrade Coconut Oil & Fairtrade Shea Butter in our products, along with various combinations of olive oil, grapeseed oil, castor oil, Australian hemp oil, and sunflower oil. Where required, we only use safe synthetics, and these are always clearly noted. We no longer use Palm Oil these days, as we want to be completely sustainable. We aim to keep our packaging to a minimum, avoiding plastics and reusing cardboard boxes from our local shoe shop. We also have a 10kWh roof solar system that is used to power the production of our products, including our own electric kiln.
